Our
Story
The Agents for Social Change Foundation supports scholars and non-profit organizations serving vulnerable and marginalized populations.
Our founder, Kush Desai, has dedicated his life to social work, serving in organizations that assist individuals and families experiencing homelessness, domestic violence survivors, new immigrants, older adults in nursing facilities, children and families in the child welfare system, individuals struggling with mental health, and individuals nearing the end of life on hospice care.
In his work with various non-profits, Kush witnessed firsthand the disparity between community needs, the organizations attempting to address them, and the structural and financial barriers that limit their impact. Motivated by his experiences and a profound commitment to social justice, Kush established the Agents for Social Change Foundation to bolster scholars and organizations, enabling them to maximize their impact.
